STORAGE TOLLEYS, RACING LANE LINE AND FIXINGS
Lane line ropes are secured to level deck pools by means of a holdfast threaded socket grouted in the pool surround and a deck level adaptor plate secured to the holdfast and extending the pool edge where the lane line is secured to the ring on the plate.
On a standard pool with water below the pool surround, the holdfast fixing is grouted into the rear of the scum channel or to the pool wall where skimmers replace the channel, and and eybolt is screwed into the holdfast. The lane line is then attached to the eyebolt.
Due to extreme tension place upon the holdfast, they must be grouted using an epoxy resin. An alternative fixing on the standard pool where the scum channel or wall can not be drilled, is by the holdfast being grouted to the pool surround and the right angled bracket being fastened over the poolside and down to the water level.
