BALUSTRADES

 

Structural glass balustrade or traditional balustrade in powder coated or polished stainless steel with glass, mesh, wire, polycarbonate or laminate infills.

Methods of fixings:-

  1. Grouted - Uprights are set into pre-cast pockets or diamond core drilled holes and set using epoxy grout. A loose cover flange conceals the hole.
  2. Removable - As grouted but a sleeve is set in to the pocket from which the upright can be removed.
  3. Flanged - A suitable base flange is welded to the upright and drilled for either expanson anchors or chemical anchors with cover rose to conceal fixings if required.
  4. Side mounted uprights extended approximately 200mm with 2No holes drilled for bolting to stringer using threaded rod set in chemical resin and dome nuts.
